Where We Started
Cadent Commerce began with a clear focus: solve the real challenges in ecommerce, and do it remarkably well.
Long before “B2B commerce” became a category many agencies claimed to understand, our team was working alongside manufacturers, distributors, and industrial brands navigating complex catalogs, customer-specific pricing, approval workflows, and ERP-driven operations.
Our roots trace back to Accorin, a boutique digital agency founded in 2013 in Boston, MA, built around the belief that B2B buying and selling require a fundamentally different approach than retail and DTC ecommerce. That belief has shaped everything that’s followed.
As digital commerce matured, so did the needs of the businesses we serve.
Manufacturers, distributors, and industrial brands needed more than storefronts: they needed connected systems, self-service capabilities, and high-touch support models that reflect how their customers actually buy.
In 2021, we became part of THE·TEAM, expanding our reach and capabilities while deepening the specialization that set us apart. Today, Cadent Commerce operates as the enterprise B2B commerce practice within THE·TEAM, bringing both scale and deep expertise to every engagement.
